Victoria’s Only French Wine Show Opens Registrations for 2025
The event invites Victorian wineries to submit their finest bottles for a chance to be judged by a panel of renowned French-Australian wine experts.
The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FACCI) is pleased to announce that the return of its Concours des Vins du Victoria in 2025.
Established in 1990 and proudly supported by Air Liquide as Naming Rights Sponsor, the Concours made a successful return in 2024, gathering over 96 bottles and 40 exhibitors – including winners De Bortoli Wines, Kerri Greens, Oakdene, Santolin Wines, Balgownie, and Stumpy Gully – and culminating in a Gala Dinner in November with over 250 attendees.
Building on this momentum, the event renews its commitment in 2025 to celebrating the shared passion for winemaking between France and Australia and showcasing the excellence and diversity of Victorian winemakers and their distinctive terroirs. This year again, the competition will reward the best wines across four key categories: Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Aromatic Whites, and Chardonnay.
Registrations are now open until Monday, 8 September, with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals to be announced on Wednesday, 8 October.
This year’s panel welcomes exciting voices from the French-Australian wine scene:

- Loic Le Calvez, Senior Winemaker at Chandon Australia
- Alexandre Rougeot, Founder & Director of Clos Cachet

- Christian Maier, Operation and Beverage Manager at University House

Their expertise will ensure a rigorous and discerning selection process.
The celebration will culminate in the highly anticipated Concours des Vins Gala Dinner on Thursday, 27 November 2025. This black-tie evening will bring together industry leaders, partners, and wine lovers from FACCI’s network and the wider industry – offering an ideal platform for wineries to connect with peers and potential partners.
