A key role played by SYSTRA in the success of the Sydney Metro North West

Sydney Metro is Australia’s biggest public transport program delivering Australia’s first automated Metro service.

Since 2014 our Corporate member SYSTRA has been providing Independent Certification services as part of a joint venture – certifying over 1000 technical packages through the Design, Manufacturing, Construction, Testing & Commissioning and Final Completion phases.

The project recently reached two significant milestones with the Independent Certifer issuing certificates of “Readiness for First Passenger Service”, and “Completion”. Along with the accreditation from the National Rail Safety Regular, the project is now ready to open on 26th May.

SYSTRA have played a key role in the success of the Sydney Metro North West earning praise from the Sydney Metro Project Director and the CEO of Northwest Rapid Transit. By consistently delivering high quality technical outcomes in a dynamic project environment over an extended period of time, SYSTRA has established a local reputation for professional, solutions focussed outcomes whilst demonstrating an ability to not only work with, but positively strengthen relationships with government and other industry partners.
