Bolloré Logistics Australia has introduced a new type of automation at its warehouse in Erskine Park

Bolloré Logistics Australia has introduced a new type of automation by adopting the use of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR). This was selected and offered to this company due to its usefulness for their business profile, which involves numerous SKUs with limited pieces of stock for each.

With more than 500 shelves and 32 robots, the AMR solution is able to improve a company's implementation and scalability. This translates to an increase in productivity by avoiding unnecessary travel during the stocking process, as well as increasing inventory access.

Bolloré Logistics Australia has been very satisfied with the results of the AMR solution; it has become the standard worldwide for warehouses, particularly due to the boom of eCommerce in the past 15 months. The Australian subsidiary is currently working on developing this model, which is particularly suited to the needs of its customers in the luxury goods and cosmetics sector.
